![]() At the end of the day then fans of the original game will find something that tickles their fancy here but unfortunately everybody else will more than likely become frustrated very easily and in the end Transport Giant: Gold Edition just doesn’t do enough to get a recommendation from me. Technically the game suffers with quite a few issues and the dated visuals and sound design makes returning back to the game more difficult than it should be. The fun factor dwindles further due to the gameplay being too complicated and the lack of a tutorial is something that shocked me greatly. It’s a great opportunity for resourceful. If you have a hankering for a city builder, or a nice relaxing overworld sim, I would recommend staying well away from Transport Giant. Transport Giant starts in 1850 at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online. ![]() This is a shame because in terms of variety the game has quite a bit which does give the game replaybilty, but this still didn’t stop it from becoming repetetive very quickly. After playing it for a few hours it became quite clear that in most areas it hasn’t aged very well and whilst I appreciate some things about the game it just doesn’t have enough fun included in it. Unfortunately I never played it back then but that still didn’t stop me from having some interest in it and in a way I was glad it was making its way to the Xbox One. There is a decent amount of content present playing for long periods makes this content become very repetetive quite quickly. Especially transport within the domestic market are increasing to a point where it can no longer be handled easily. How do the workers get to their factories? And who will transport the huge amount of raw materials? The time has come for a powerful and giant transportation company. Its enjoyable and rewarding, but as a serious simulation, rather than something fun to unwind with on the weekend. But how do the goods get to the customer? ![]() The world is in need of all kinds of goods and the growth of cities is increasing dramatically. There are new companies founded on every corner. With a little money and good ideas you can establish a business empire. For a smart businessman there are many opportunities. A new era of mass production and mass transportation has begun.
